PARK CITY PERFORMING ARTS
TICKET TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: September 2, 2026
By purchasing, accepting, transferring, receiving, or using a ticket to an event presented by Park City Performing Arts Foundation, dba Park City Performing Arts (“PCPA”), the ticket purchaser and ticket holder (“Holder”) agree to the following terms and conditions.
These terms apply to events presented by PCPA, including performances at the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Center, Concerts on the Slopes, and other venues at which PCPA presents or produces events.
1. ALL SALES ARE FINAL
Unless otherwise expressly stated by PCPA, all ticket sales are final. Tickets are nonrefundable and nonexchangeable.
Refunds will not be issued because of personal scheduling conflicts, travel disruptions, illness, inability to attend, dissatisfaction with seating location, weather conditions that do not result in cancellation, artist set length, supporting-act changes, or other circumstances outside PCPA's control.
If PCPA officially cancels an event and does not reschedule or relocate it, PCPA will communicate available refund or ticket-credit options directly to affected ticket purchasers.
Service fees, processing fees, delivery fees, donations, membership payments, and other charges may be nonrefundable to the extent permitted by law and applicable ticketing-platform policies.
2. EVENT DATES, TIMES & SCHEDULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Event dates, door times, performance times, set times, opening acts, supporting artists, and event schedules are subject to change.
Published set times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
A change in an opening act, supporting artist, performance order, set time, or event schedule does not automatically entitle the Holder to a refund.
Patrons are responsible for checking PCPA communications and official event information before attending.
3. ARTIST & LINEUP CHANGES
Artists, performers, supporting acts, and programming are subject to change due to illness, travel, weather, contractual matters, circumstances beyond PCPA's control, or other production considerations.
Unless the event itself is officially canceled by PCPA, a change to an opening artist, supporting act, lineup, program, or performance order does not constitute a cancellation and does not automatically qualify the Holder for a refund.
4. WEATHER & OUTDOOR EVENTS
Outdoor performances are subject to changing mountain weather conditions.
Events may proceed in rain, cold, heat, wind, or other weather conditions when PCPA and/or the venue determine that the event can safely continue.
PCPA may delay, pause, evacuate, relocate, modify, shorten, reschedule, or cancel a performance because of lightning, wind, wildfire or smoke conditions, severe weather, unsafe stage or production conditions, governmental orders, emergency circumstances, or other safety concerns.
The safety of patrons, artists, employees, volunteers, contractors, and production personnel takes priority over maintaining the originally scheduled event format.
A weather delay, temporary evacuation, shortened performance, modification, or relocation does not necessarily constitute an event cancellation or create an automatic right to a refund.
Patrons attending outdoor events are responsible for dressing appropriately for mountain conditions and following all venue and emergency instructions.
5. VENUE CHANGES
PCPA reserves the right to relocate an event when reasonably necessary because of weather, safety, production requirements, venue availability, governmental requirements, artist requirements, or circumstances beyond PCPA's reasonable control.
A change of venue does not, by itself, constitute cancellation of the event.
When an event is relocated, PCPA will make reasonable efforts to accommodate existing ticket holders at the replacement venue.
6. SEATING CHANGES & REASSIGNMENTS
When an event is relocated, reconfigured, or subject to production changes, exact seating locations may change.
PCPA reserves the right to provide a reasonably comparable replacement seat or seating area when the originally purchased seat, section, or ticket category cannot be maintained.
Outdoor general-admission areas may be converted to designated general-admission sections or other seating areas when an event moves indoors.
Stage configuration, production equipment, sightlines, safety requirements, artist requirements, ADA accommodations, venue configuration, or other operational needs may also require seating adjustments.
PCPA will make reasonable efforts to provide comparable accommodations but cannot guarantee that a replacement seat will have an identical location, row, elevation, viewing angle, or proximity to the stage.
7. GENERAL ADMISSION
General Admission (“GA”) tickets do not guarantee a particular seat or location within the designated GA area.
GA seating or standing locations are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise stated.
Saving large numbers of seats, blocking aisles, occupying seats outside the designated ticket area, or interfering with other patrons' reasonable access may be prohibited.
8. TICKET DELIVERY & ENTRY
PCPA currently utilizes Showpass for ticket distribution and event entry.
Patrons are responsible for presenting a valid ticket or QR code for admission.
Screenshots, duplicated tickets, altered tickets, counterfeit tickets, or tickets obtained through unauthorized sources may not be accepted.
Once a valid ticket has been scanned, subsequent copies of the same ticket may be denied entry.
PCPA is not responsible for tickets purchased from unauthorized third-party sellers.
9. RESALE & TRANSFER
Tickets may be transferred when permitted through the applicable ticketing platform and event rules.
PCPA does not guarantee or assume responsibility for transactions conducted through unauthorized third-party resale websites, social-media marketplaces, private sellers, or ticket brokers.
Tickets obtained fraudulently, duplicated, counterfeited, or sold in violation of applicable law or event-specific restrictions may be canceled without refund.
10. MEMBERSHIP, SPONSOR & COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS
Membership, sponsor, promotional, donated, complimentary, and other benefit tickets may be subject to additional restrictions.
Unused benefits have no cash value unless expressly stated otherwise.
Tickets provided as part of a membership or sponsorship benefit are subject to availability and the terms applicable to that particular program.
11. REFUNDS
If PCPA determines that a refund is appropriate, refunds generally will be issued to the original method of payment and original purchaser, subject to the policies and technical capabilities of the applicable ticketing provider.
PCPA may establish event-specific refund deadlines or procedures when circumstances warrant.
Failure to request an authorized refund within an announced deadline may result in the ticket remaining valid under the revised event arrangements instead.
12. LATE ARRIVAL & RE-ENTRY
Late seating and re-entry policies may vary by performance and venue.
For some performances, late-arriving patrons may be required to wait for an appropriate break in the program before entering the theatre.
Re-entry may be restricted.
No refund will be issued because a patron arrives late or misses part of a performance.
13. FOOD, BEVERAGE & ALCOHOL
Food and beverage policies vary by venue.
At the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Center, water is the only beverage permitted inside the theatre unless otherwise specifically authorized by the venue.
For events where alcoholic beverages are available, all alcohol service and consumption must comply with Utah law, venue requirements, and applicable licensing requirements.
PCPA reserves the right to refuse alcohol service and/or remove any patron whose behavior creates a safety concern or disrupts the event.
14. PATRON CONDUCT
PCPA is committed to providing a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment.
Patrons may be denied admission or removed without refund for conduct including, but not limited to:
Threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, or disruptive behavior;
Fighting or physical aggression;
Excessive intoxication;
Illegal drug use or possession;
Unauthorized distribution of alcohol;
Entering restricted, backstage, stage, production, or artist areas;
Throwing objects;
Interfering with performers, staff, volunteers, security, or other guests;
Refusing to comply with reasonable safety, security, venue, or emergency instructions; or
Violating applicable laws or venue policies.
PCPA reserves the right to contact law enforcement when appropriate.
15. STAGE & RESTRICTED AREAS
Patrons may not enter the stage, backstage areas, production areas, dressing rooms, artist areas, or other restricted locations without express authorization from PCPA.
An artist's invitation or encouragement does not necessarily override venue safety requirements or PCPA restrictions.
Patrons must follow instructions from PCPA staff, venue personnel, security, and emergency personnel at all times.
16. SECURITY & PROHIBITED ITEMS
Patrons and their belongings may be subject to reasonable security screening as a condition of entry.
Prohibited-item policies may vary by venue and event.
Weapons, illegal substances, dangerous items, and any item determined by PCPA or venue personnel to create an unreasonable safety or security risk may be prohibited.
Refusal to comply with required security procedures may result in denied admission without refund.
17. ACCESSIBILITY
PCPA is committed to providing accessible experiences for patrons with disabilities.
Accessible seating and accommodations are available subject to venue configuration and availability.
Patrons needing assistance are encouraged to contact the PCPA Box Office in advance so that reasonable accommodations can be arranged.
18. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & RECORDING
Photography and recording policies may vary according to artist and contractual requirements.
Professional cameras, detachable lenses, flash photography, audio recording, and video recording may be prohibited unless specifically authorized.
By entering an event, Holder acknowledges that photography, video, or audio recording may occur for legitimate event, archival, promotional, security, news, or organizational purposes, subject to applicable law.
19. ASSUMPTION OF ORDINARY EVENT RISKS
Attendance at live events involves ordinary risks associated with crowds, amplified sound, changing weather, stairs, uneven surfaces, temporary event infrastructure, and other conditions inherent in live performances.
By attending, Holder voluntarily accepts the ordinary risks reasonably associated with attendance, subject to rights that cannot legally be waived.
Patrons are responsible for following posted warnings and reasonable instructions from PCPA, venue, security, and emergency personnel.
20. FORCE MAJEURE & CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND PCPA'S CONTROL
PCPA will not be responsible for failure or delay in presenting an event as originally scheduled when caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, wildfire, smoke, governmental action, public emergency, labor disruption, transportation interruption, utility failure, venue unavailability, artist illness or incapacity, or other similar circumstances.
In such situations, PCPA may modify, postpone, relocate, reschedule, or cancel the event and will communicate applicable ticket options.
21. COMMUNICATIONS
The purchaser is responsible for providing accurate contact information at the time of purchase.
PCPA may use the email address, telephone number, or other contact information associated with a ticket order to communicate important event information, including schedule changes, weather alerts, venue changes, seating changes, safety information, postponements, or cancellations, consistent with applicable law.
Patrons are responsible for reviewing event communications before attending.
22. EVENTS SUPPORT A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION
Park City Performing Arts Foundation is a nonprofit organization.
Ticket revenue helps support PCPA's performances, operations, educational programming, community outreach, and access initiatives.
The tax-deductibility of memberships, donations, sponsorships, or other payments depends upon the nature of the transaction and applicable tax law. Purchasers should consult their own tax adviser regarding deductibility.
23. EVENT-SPECIFIC TERMS
Individual events, venues, artists, memberships, promotions, or ticket types may carry additional terms and policies.
When event-specific requirements are communicated at the time of purchase or before an event, those requirements are incorporated into these Ticket Terms & Conditions to the extent applicable.
24. APPLICABLE LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive or limit any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived or limited.
25. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
PCPA may update these Ticket Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The terms applicable to a ticket will generally be those in effect at the time of purchase, together with any event-specific policies or legally permissible safety and operational requirements communicated thereafter.
